We are lucky to be holding our Nativity Play in St. Mary’s Church again this year. As this requires a little more organisation, please read the following information carefully.
All Main Hall children should arrive at pre-school at 9am. All Club Room children should be collected by parents/carers at 10.15am and taken directly to the church for 11am start. Past experience has shown that the younger children are not quite ready to participate in this event but are welcome to watch and join in the singing with their parents.
The nativity will start promptly at 11.00 am. You may go directly into the church but please do not arrive earlier than 10.15am.
Staff and helpers will escort participating children to the church. Please ensure your child has a warm coat and is dressed in a plain T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms/leggings in order to ease the outfit changing process. Please do not bring any bags or water bottles to pre-school.
At the end of the nativity staff will change the children back into their own clothes in the vestry. When the children are ready to leave you will be asked to collect your child at the side entrance of the church. Only parents or carers known to staff should collect.
The Annual Christmas Raffle will not be announced at this event.
